Extreme Sailing Series Cardiff

Cardiff delivered extreme excitement on the Marstrom built X40 cats

What a stunning racing watched by overall 35 000 spectators with five teams going into the final with possibility to win, after 32 races the closest leaderboard this year! A real statement how tough the compettition is in this  Extreme Sailing Series. Our Best congratulation to Morgan Larson and the team on Oman Air catchng the second place on the final race which was enough for them to secure the overall win of Act 5 of the Extreme Sailing Series in Cardiff.

We were having a great time following the race from the BERG Propulsion rib.

In the multihull fleet two M32’s were lining up on the starting line. One with the stars of the STAR and Olympic gold medalists Fredrik Lööf, Max Salminen along with coach Mark Ivey and navigator Mikael Björndal. On the other M32 Mattias Rahm former world champion in Europe dingy, 470 Olympic sailor with Americas Cup experience along with multihull experts Sven-Bertil “Berra” Johansson, Tomas “Tummen” Persson and navigator Daniel Björndal.
